Meal Prepping Made Easy

Its be honest. No one likes being in the kitchen 24/7.

This is why I encourage you to meal prep because it can save A LOT of time.

In this guide, I’ll share with you different strategies you can employ to make the process easier on yourself.

Having your meals prepared on hand doesn’t only help you save time, but it also puts you on the fast lane to reaching your nutrition goals. It helps control portions, and avoid excessive dinning out or take out food, especially when you’re tired and overwhelmed with life.

Different Strategies.

I understand your schedule may not allow you to spend an entire Sunday afternoon in the kitchen, but check this out.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO

Find your style among these options and implement it as part of your routine.

  • Have Your Meals ready: This is the conventional approach to meal prepping, it consists of having fully cooked meals ready in advance and refrigerating them to be reheated at meal times. This can be efficient if you’re always on the go, or don’t have much time to cook dinner.

  • Cook Batches: Here’s one of the more creative ways to meal prep. The strategy consists of making a large batch of a specific recipe, then dividing it into portions to have through the week.

  • Prep Your Ingredients: This can help you save time when it’s time to cook. By prepping your ingredients, whether that is seasoning your meats, or cutting up your vegetables. Have everything ready the night before (or in advance), to make the cooking time in the kitchen a lot smoother.

You may also do a combination of the three.

The truth is, as you experiment with different methods and you consider your goals, and daily routine. You will gravitate the approach that’s most convenient for you/

For example, if you’re limited on time in the morning. You may find it to be tactful to have your breakfast ready in advance, to streamline your morning routine. Or maybe, you don’t have a lot of time in the evening so you ready your ingredients in the morning.

Regardless of the method you device to go with. Sticking to a SCHEDULE will be key.

As humans we strive of the habits we can create for ourselves; The sooner you can engrain this into your personal routine, the more likely it will stick.
